St Mary's Church

The usual monthly pattern of worship at St Mary's is:

• 1st Sunday, 10am: Methodist All-age Worship with Mr David Heffer (01296 670273)
• 2nd and 4th Sundays, 9.30am: Holy Communion with Rev Andy Bell (01296 670298) or Rev Jim Gorringe (01525 240251)
  In school terms there is a Sunday School from 9.20am at the chapel, then the children come to the church for the last part of Communion
• 3rd Sunday, 9.30am: Family Service with Rev Andy Bell
• 5th Sunday, 9.30am: Family Communion with Rev Andy Bell

Visit St Marys

St Mary's is a fine building with a long history, some parts dating back to the 12th century. The tower has recently been restored and is an excellent visual marker for the village from a few miles away. The Church is open during daylight hours. The Churchwardens are Elizabeth Crocker and Clive Robinson.

The Ecumenical Partnership

Since April 2006, North Marston's Methodist and Anglican Churches have been in Local Ecumenical Partnership at St Mary's.

This involves using the one building, St. Mary's for services and other activities and selling the Methodist building. Thus we will gain access to funds which we hope may be turned to good effect to improve the facilities for both the Anglican building and the village.

There are ongoing discussions about the best way to improve these facilities; the Methodist building will remain in use for some activities until the plans are finally agreed.

The Ecumenical Parish Council is Janet Gowin, Rachel Gray, Janice Gurney, David Heffer, Clare Hurrell, Tricia McSweeney, David Perrett and Mandy Wilkinson.
