Parish Council

North Marston Parish Council is one of 110 parishes councils in the Aylesbury Vale District Council area. It provides the first tier of our local government, providing services at village level and a representative voice on behalf of the local community on things like planning applications. It is independent of the District Council and of Buckinghamshire County Council.

The Council meets every third Tuesday of the month, at 8pm in the Village Hall. It is open to the public, and starts with an Open Forum where residents can raise any issues of interest or concern.

The Council employs a Clerk (currently Sue Mordue) who is responsible for administrative and financial affairs. You can contact the Clerk with any questions about the work of the Council, either by email or using the form below to contact her.

Sometimes Parish Council meetings need to go into closed session, and members of the public will be asked to leave. Sometimes the business of a meeting is not completed, and an additional meeting may be scheduled. Any such meeting will be publicised here. The Annual Meeting is normally held in May, starting at 7.30pm on the day of the scheduled normal meeting.
