Neighbourhood watch

If you are interested in becoming a Neighbourhood Watch representative please contact northmarston@gmail.com

The Neighbourhood Watch Scheme reduces local opportunities for crime and thereby deters would-be thieves and vandals. It establishes a community spirit so that everyone can contribute towards the protection of their property by mutual co-operation and communication.

Normally, each road will have a local co-ordinator whose job it is to ensure that the other residents are made aware of any suspicious activity in the area.

There are many ways in which you can help – for example by keeping an eye on a neighbour’s home when it is unoccupied, check for mail, parcels and milk on the doorstep, maybe cut their grass while they’re away and report anything suspicious to the police immediately.

The North Marston Website promotes the scheme and will be publishing any crime reports we are sent by Aylesbury Police.
