Day Services Consultation
Half way through the consultation on the proposals for Day Services, Buckinghamshire County Council has presented its ideas at more than 30 meetings, and will have completed more than 80 by the end of the consultation on 25 August.
Patricia Birchley, Cabinet Member for Adults and Family Wellbeing, has attended many of the public events and continues to encourage everyone with an interest in Day Services to take part and feed back their views.
'We want to make the consultation accessible to everyone who might have an interest in Day Services so the proposals are available in different formats, including an easy-read version and audio,' she said. 'We are keen to reach as many people as possible with the consultation so that the future service reflects and incorporates the public views. Consultations with all our service users are continuing over the next few weeks and we are also talking to various groups who represent the different communities in the county.'
Some of the questions being asked during the consultation have been put together with their answers, and are available alongside the consultation document on the county council website. The consultation document and questionnaire can be found on the Have Your Say page.
Printed copies of the document and questionnaire are also available from the Adults and Family Wellbeing Communications Department on 01296 382173. Venues and dates of future meetings are regularly updated here.
