Don't touch Drop Vodka

The County Council have been contacted by the The Food Standards Agency to inform them that a vodka on sale across the country is potentially lethal.

The vodka is called Drop Vodka and contains high levels of Propan-2-ol (an industrial cleaner) and methanol. If drunk, this can kill and cause blindness.

Photos of the Drop Vodka bottles may be found here. A copy of the FSA Food Alert showing the distinctive marks and containing more information may be found here.

If any of the product is found please seize it as evidence if possible, and contact the Council on 01296 382649 or by email.
