Winter Driving

Following the challenging conditions of last winter, the County Council are again working with local garages and car showrooms to offer the motorists of Buckinghamshire an opportunity to ensure their vehicles are prepared for winter driving conditions and can gain some valuable advice on how to drive in snow and ice.

There are a number of workshops around the county. The following workshops are run by Transport for Buckinghamshire and cost £10 per place. Attendees at these workshops will receive a free information pack with winter driving accessories worth approx £16.99:

• STS Tyre Pros, Park Street, Aylesbury – 6 October 2010 – 7pm to 9pm
• Tower Garage, Fieldhouse Lane, Marlow – 26th October 2010 – 7pm to 9pm

The following local garages/showrooms are running their own FREE events:

• Perry's, Amersham – 13 October 2010 – 6.45pm to 8.45pm
• Buckingham Ford, Ford Street, Buckingham – 21 October 2010 – 6.30pm to 8.30pm
