Booking Clerk handover

At the recent Village Hall Committee meeting, thanks were expressed for the work done by Paul Young during the past seven years as Booking Clerk for the Village Hall.

He has been a loyal member of the Village Hall Committee and has given much time to ensuring the smooth running of the Hall for all the events and functions held in the hall every week.

During the meeting the newly appointed Chair for the Village Hall Committee, Jane Dell, confirmed that she was delighted to have accepted the offer of Pete York to act as the Booking Clerk for the Village Hall.

Pete and his wife Val moved into the village last year. They were keen to become involved in village life and make a positive contribution. In seeing the advertisement for the Clerk's position for the Hall, Pete saw this as a real way in which he could get involved. Everyone was delighted at his appointment and welcomed him onto the Committee.
