John and Fran say hello to North Marston

Hello everyone. We are John and Fran Spargo and we've recently moved into Garfield House (at the Village Hall end of the High Street). We've moved from Quainton so we know the area quite well.

Fran works for the NHS and is based in Aylesbury. John retired a few years ago after many years in the public sector. Fran loves gardening and card making. John's interests include photography and church crawling, he's also a keen cyclist.

As many of you will have noticed, we've had a lot of work done to the house and its surrounds. We are, however, keen to preserve the appearance of the cottage which was once the village Police House. Has anyone got any old pictures of Garfield House from days gone by?

We have been made to feel very welcome by lots of friendly greetings. We are sure we are going to love living in North Marston.
