Pete and Anne say hello to North Marston
Pete and Anne
Anne and Pete are no strangers to village life and prior to moving to North Marston they lived in Staffordshire's Abbots Bromley, a village well known for its annual horn dance in September. The dance itself dates back to 1226 and its origin being that of 'stemming from nature' and a fertility ritual among the druids.
They come to The Pilgrim with a background in the pub and restaurant business having both been involved in running successful free house premises.
Pete has a keen interest in sport , particularly rugby union and is an ex player and club committee member.
Anne is a dog lover and with Aoife, her young border collie, she is looking forward to exploring our lovely countryside walks.
They say the village has given them a very warm welcome and they are looking forward to a long and happy time at The Pilgrim.
North Marston says hello to Pete and Anne
My sentiments exactly. May you, the Pilgrim and the village flourish together. Alan.
