Pete and Val say hello to North Marston

Pete and Val York
We've recently moved into Granborough Road and we are delighted to move to such a lovely village in rural Bucks.
Originally from Nottingham, Val is a retired primary school teacher who is fond of swimming, aquafit and cookery.
Pete, a Yorkshireman from Bridlington, has recently retired from a full career as a navigator in the RAF and likes rugby (as a spectator) and Barbershop singing.
We have moved house many times with the RAF and have spent the last eleven years overseas in Kuwait, Italy and Germany, all of which were very different adventures. We have three married children, a grandson of eighteen months who spends his Tuesdays with us here in the village, and two more grandchildren expected soon.
We are completely new to the Bucks area and know very little about it but we are learning slowly and really enjoying exploring the village and its great surrounding sights and walks.
You may have noticed the recent installation of solar heating and power on our roof. If you are interested and want to talk about it, please do not hesitate to knock on the door or call us on 670479. Thank you for the warm welcome we have received; we look forward to getting to know you and the village much better.
