A shop for North Marston

The North Marston Village Shop Committee are a group of residents who are working to open a community shop in our village, in response to a highly favourable response to a local questionnaire in 2008.

We believe that a successful shop will bring many benefits to everyone who lives, works or visits in or around North Marston, and make living here even more of a pleasure.

We will use these pages to keep the village informed of our progress, and later as part of the operation of the shop. We have made great strides since we started last year, and we are just about to apply for planning permission and to set up the legal structure to run the shop.

We are a group of residents who meet every two weeks or so. We get help and advice from a number of organisations, and inspiration from the many successful community shops already set up in rural England.
