As a small village - with lots of families, children and animals - it is essential that residents and visitors alike are aware of their speed and the potential impact that excess speed has.
The Community Speedwatch team of volunteers are responsible for tracking speeding cars and ensuring that drivers are given appropriate warnings.
The MVAS (Moveable Vehicle Activated Sign) device is pole-mounted at variable points in the village. MVAS logs data on vehicles’ speed, date and time coming into the village and flashes up a speed limit reminder to violators travelling faster than 30mph, the legal speed limit in North Marston.
Please support us in this critical mission to keep our village - and its residents and visitors - safe.
