The Village Hall

The Hall was originally built in 1923 and stands in a prominent position in the village, at the junction of the High Street, Granborough Road and Quainton Road.

It is one of the main focal meeting points in the Village, and holds numerous weekly activities. It is available for hire for both Village residents and other local groups and can be booked for groups of up to 100, for Weddings, Parties, Discos and meetings.

About the Hall

The building consists of a large 13 x7 m hall, with a wooden floor and a tall open ceiling, giving it a light and spacious environment, with a maximum capacity for 100 people. You enter the hall through a porch area; to the side of the hall is the kitchen area and toilets. Within the hall is a portable staging system, chairs and tables, for both children and adults. Surrounding the hall is a grassed garden area which can be used with the hall during the summer months.

The entire Hall is centrally heated (cost included in hire charge) and in good decorative order. The Hall offers seating for up to 100 people and catering equipment includes hot and cold water, a cooker, a refrigerator, a freezer, some crockery and cutlery and a hostess trolley.
