North Marston Parish Council currently has a vacancy for a parish councillor.

WHAT DO COUNCILLORS DO?

Local councillors invest time in local projects and issues to the benefit of residents and the village and the future of the community. .

HOW COULD I CONTRIBUTE?

A mixture of different skills and experience amongst Parish Councillors contributes to a good and balanced representation of the parish. The ability to take the initiative, be creative and have time to give to the role are all very important aspects of being a good Councillor.

WHAT IS THE LEVEL OF COMMITMENT?

A commitment to attend a monthly meetings on the second Tuesday of the month (there is usually a recess in August). Also some time put aside to read through documents and correspondence in order to make informed decisions when voting on matters of importance to the village and its residents, and to carry out any tasks agreed at meetings.
