Launch of North Marston Parish Council's Small Grants Scheme for 2025-26
It is almost that time of year again to launch the Parish Council's Small Grants Scheme.
Each year, the Parish Council sets aside an amount of money to help support local voluntary organisations. This year, the scheme will open on Monday 3rd March for applications and will close on Friday 2nd May 2025.
If your organisation would like to apply for some funds to help with the purchase of equipment or to help towards small project costs, you will need to include the following information on a separate sheet attached to a short covering email:
(a) The name of the organisation applying
(b) Your name and role within the organisation
(c) What the funding would be used for
(d) Why funding is needed (i.e. insufficient income from subscriptions or reserves held)
(e) How much your organisation is applying for
(f) Whether or not your organisation is able to put some money from its own reserves towards the purchase/project
If funding is to purchase equipment, for example, please supply/attach information about what would be purchased from an online or other catalogue with the cost.
Please note that an application does not guarantee funding, nor the full amount requested. All applications will be considered on their own merit. The Parish Council would prefer more than one organisation to benefit from the funds available, usually £1k in total. Also, larger projects with high and/or ongoing costs may not be considered suitable for small grant funding.
We are sorry that the scheme is unable to support individuals.
If you have received funding previously you will still need to apply again.
The Parish Council will make its funding decisions at its May meeting and you will be notified of the outcome shortly afterwards.
