About the Role
North Marston is a small, friendly village with around 800 residents. We’re looking for a proactive, organised, and community-minded Parish Clerk & Finance Officer to help our Council run smoothly.
This role is about supporting our community, keeping things organised, and making sure our Council’s projects and finances are well-managed. You’ll mainly work from home, with some evenings for meetings, and you’ll be the go-to person for councillors, residents, and local organisations.
What You’ll Do
• Keep the Council’s administration and finances in good order
• Prepare agendas, minutes, and reports for meetings
• Maintain accurate financial records and provide regular updates
• Be a friendly point of contact for residents, contractors, and local groups
• Support community projects and initiatives
What You Need
âś… Confident with Microsoft Office (Excel required)
âś… Good at juggling tasks and meeting deadlines
âś… Friendly, approachable, and reliable
Previous experience in local government would be an advantage but is not essential as support will be given.
