His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh
1921 – 2021
The Councillors and Clerk of North Marston Parish Council are deeply saddened at the news of the death of HRH Prince Phillip. Our thoughts are with the Royal Family at this time.
We recognise that, following the death of the Duke of Edinburgh, many may wish to leave a message in a book of condolence. The Government has advised that in order to observe current Covid-19 precautions, physical condolence books should not be offered at this time. The Church of England has opened an online condolence book, which is open to any individual or church communities who wish to sign and record a message. You can access this book directly through the Church of England website below
The Palace has also requested that people should consider making a donation to a charity of their choice, or one of The Duke of Edinburgh’s Patronages, in memory of His Royal Highness, instead of leaving floral tributes.
The Church will be open every day from 10am – 4pm until the funeral. There is a battery candle on the alter and flowers may be laid either side of the south door to the Church on the gravel against the Church wall. The Church bell will ring at 10am 10th April and will also ring one hour before the funeral starts.
Welcome to North Marston online!
